Two strong young men of age 21 and 19, Faust and Forrest are their own people. Alike in stature and thought but polar opposites in personality, the boys have been fast friends since a young age. Both grew up in Poor Grounds, working odd jobs to help pay for necessities. Though belonging to two separate families, the boys adopted a same surname as an alibi as their "odd jobs" begun to take more illegal turn. Currently they deal with the more sinister part of Poor Grounds, having slight hands in the Black Market and any other dark tradings . They have tight ties and bonds with many Pirates.
Though their actions may be questionable both are sincere and light at heart, doing only what's needed to get the best for their respective families. And if there's more left over for booze and whores for Faust? Who's complaining?
As before mentioned, the boys have two distinctly different personality.
Dark haired Faust, the elder of the two manages to pull off the charming, dark stranger, lady killer, at once being dangerous and seductive. While he's more of a ticking time bomb on the inside, simply waiting to pick a fight, Faust is a cunning man, quick to sharp word if it fits what he's after. Through all his faults he's caring individual, known to spare a couple of blues to a young child or ailing elder. Faust is more inclined to joke and poke fun, even at dark situations where it might be inappropriate, but it's all in good humour. He enjoys bringing women to his bed and a good swing of whiskey after. He is fiercely and overly protective of Forrest, willing to beat down whomever dares to touch a silvery hair his 'pet''s head. His family is also a main priority, his father having left on a ship long ago and never once returned, Faust is the main provider for his crippled mother and fierce younger sisters Ellete and Ithaca
Forrest is the quiet 'brother'. Soft spoken, more kind, perceptive. He prefers to keep to the side, only moving forward to rein in the 'elder brother' when Faust looses his temper. In that way, Forrest is the more mature side of the coin. He handles the more financial aspects of the 'business' along with keeping a handle on Faust's spending habits. Forrest is a kind man, even more so than Faust. Helping with his drunk of a father and prostitute mother since he learnt to walk, Forrest learnt responsibility is key. He is a trustworthy boy, willing to help. He is the ice to Faust's fire, cool and collected. He can come off as apathetic to a stranger, for his lacking demeanour. But he is a very caring character, willing to throw his heart into the pit for one he cares about. He takes pleasure in arts, finding time to paint and draw on whatever he can find, even settling for a canvas of his own skin with the ink of ashes. Forrest isn't as smooth as smooth with the women as he'd like to be, playing off on Faust's charm when needs be to get action. He falls too easily, mostly for women that leave him shunned and hurt. He is slightly childish in manner, bordering on antisocial for the fear he only annoys people. He enjoys tinkering and fiddling with gadgets, always having a small wrench in his back pocket and his eye glass at hand. He adores ships, taking every chance at hand to get close to one. Forrest adores Faust, not minding the nicknames he bestows.
