She stood over his body, scowling at it. Her dress was torn but dresses could be mended. Her face was bloody from his fist, and her left leg was bruised pretty badly from his kicks, but those would heal quickly. The bulk of the damage was on her right arm which was almost burnt to a crisp. It hurt to move but thanks to the pain suppressant in Crystathine she could sling it and it would be fine. She had used a ripped off piece of his shirt to do so only moments before.
Before leaving the Krion Operative, Venom spat on his body. She remembered the fight with clarity, how she had to almost get crisped while moving an electric cable into the puddle he stood on. What a thought, he tries to deep fry me but instead I beat him too it. Now her victim lay face forward in the same puddle, motionless. She had moved the cable prior to touching him to check his pule, using her telekinesis of course. When she understood he was dead she relaxed.
But then again, that was five minutes ago. They could already know he was terminated and be sending another operative to her location.
"What a nuisance" she said to her victim, and walked away, disappearing in the shadows of an alley.
- - - - - - - - -
It took her two hours to get to home base. The pain was getting worse by then, however upon arrival she was given medical treatment immediately. She insisted on not being put under for the entire procedure.
"It will hurt," the doctors said.
"It better," she answered. "Otherwise I won't learn a damn thing."
Another hour went or surgery followed. Her arm was healed completely, excluding some minor burn scars. However, Venom was Venom and admired the touch they added to her right arm. Afterwards she went to her quarters and stayed there.
- - - - - - - -
"Venom!"
A sigh came to answer.
"Venom what happened?"
The man asking her questions was Sector 9 Chief Advisor and Head of the Right Blood Outpost, Colonel William T. Ronalds. He was a big man in his late forties. He stood at 6 foot eleven inches, and was not very thin however could easily hold his own. He resembled the look of a club bouncer honestly, bald headed, wore tinted lenses to hide his eyes, and always, ALWAYS, looked angry. Today he wore a black suit and tie. He was also obviously agitated.
"Venom answer me now!"
A flash of light was all that was seen before Venom appeared before him. She held her katana at his throat, and stood still. He didn't move, didn't flinch either. He stared. That's how they stood, for maybe five minutes, staring each other down strait faced and challenging. Venom broke first, smiling into an uncontrollable laughter.
"You're dead sir," she said.
Ronalds joined in the laughter.
"So I am."
It was said that Venom was the only Operative who could ever bring this side of him out. She put the sword in the sheath on her back.
"So," she began still laughing a bit. "Were you planning on telling me my target was a Krion Operative or were you going to just let me figure it out?"
"Tell you?" Ronalds laughed. "And short you on a challenge? I know better than that! We gotta keep you entertained! God forbid you get bored!"
Venom roared with laughter.
"Indeed," she said. She finally caught her breath and grew somewhat serious. "I'm ready." Ronalds almost staggered backwards. "I'm fine, the docs did a good job patching up. I'm ready for my next target."
Ronalds rose a hand at first, but as quickly as he did he smiled and nodded.
"You'll have your briefing package on your computer tomorrow morning," he said.
"Colonel Ronalds Sir!" A soldier said. "You've been requested in meeting room 3, sir!"
"Meeting room 3 eh? Who the fuck decided to get stupid enough to interrupt my debriefing of Operative Venom? Lemme guess, it's a Code Alpha-Gam?"
"I'm afraid so, sir!"
"Great, what could Admiral Collins want now?" he began walking away with the soldier, but took one last look at Venom. "You did good Soldier."
He then turned the corner and vanished.
"Thanks," Venom whispered softly. Her admiration for Colonel Ronalds was unmatched, all knew it. But no dared accuse Venom of having a crush.
- - - - - - - - - "Maxwell Vijay," Venom said while reading the file given to her on her computer. The holographic emulator showed her all of the target's files known. Flipping through his files and pictures she read parts allowed.
"Hrmm, it says he first appeared on the grid two years ago buying out vessel businesses left and right." She sighed and took a drink of her tea. "Eventually creating a Monopoly, however because he helped build the Armada, The Elvin Council allowed it." She raised an eyebrow as she turned to the next file. "Huh, so it says here he is the only Human member of the Council. Right now he supplies most of the military equipment and technology, which explains his power in the council." She leaned back in her chain reading on taking another sip of tea. "Odd, it notes also though that he is usually a total recluse. In council meetings he normally sends a representative, a girl it seems that goes by the name Esuva. Says she's a vp of manufacturing. He only goes out during votes where he alone can cast a vote. He usually is very nervous and easily panicked." She took one last sip finishing the mug. "How odd to have so much power and yet act like a total submissive fool." She stared for a moment at Esuva's picture. She stared wondering about her. She looked strong, she carried herself very well.
"I wonder..." she began.
A knock interrupted her thoughts.
"Agent Venom, you've been requested by Colonel Ronalds to exit for activation of assassination mode. He has ordered you to relocate to safe house B for occupancy during your activation period. You must vacate in one hour. Understood?"
"Yeah, yeah I understand!" she sighed and turned off the hologram.
"Alright Vijay. I hope you're ready to be murdered."
- - - - - - -
Two hours passed. Venom had relocated to the Elvin Home World, Centrillia. Her Safe House B was a fair sized apartment there. She started working on the plan, step by step to kill her target. For a moment during the night her arm suddenly hurt in a flash memory but it passed.
The next day she was going to kill him, so she got some rest. She dreamt of her arm being singed by The Krion Operative, and of this shadowy being with glowing gold eyes. It was a very restless night thanks to all the nightmares.

A tall, thin framed girl stood admist the bodies of countless smugglers, sickles dripping with their blood as she sighed and looked upwards. She was dressed in uniform, the blackened hue tinted glossy with dropplets of blood. Short, deep breaths of exhaustion ripped through her very being as she calmed down from the bloodlust. She couldn't see her as she was now, the poor thing would be terrified. With a sigh, she moved over towards an open doorway, through which she hoped she could find a bathroom to wash off all the blood she had been stained with. It was taxing to constantly worry about cleaning up the blood, but such things should be kept from the more innocent on board. She would ask someone to...clean up the bodies before she would be allowed back in.
Upon reaching the bathroom she imediately stripped down, throwing her clothes into the shower and turning on the water, pouring some liquid soap in with the water, so that the cloathes could lather properly before she set about cleaning them. Pale blue eyes then turned towards the mirror, taking in a young woman, whose pale complexion was smeared at various points with stains of blood, and whose eyes held a look of weariness to them. 'I should rest sometime before we return to base.' she thought to herself as long slender fingers wrapped their way around a towel before coating it in more liquid soap and dipping it in warm water. The towel was then dragged across her skin, in several different ways as she cleaned off the memories of the slaughter with her blood. The screams, their fear, the helplessness of some...her head shook violently with the thoughts that came back. No, this wasn't her. She told herself such things often, yet somewhere deep down in her psyche, she knew it was a lie to some extent or another. *** She exited the bathroom feeling refreshed now that all the blood was off of her being. Swiftly she made her way towards the hanger, where the ship she used to board the illegal smuggling vessel was. "Eclair, do you read me? Come in." Her fingers wove their way around the com at her waist line, pulling it up to her ear. "The problem has been neutralized. We are free to hook up the ship and bring it back, returning all of the stolen and or illegal goods." "Please tell me by neutralized you do not me--" "The job is done. Though, a clean up crew may want to investigate the main bay. I ran into a...hic-up there." "Hic-up? What mannner of hic-up?" "Never mind the manner of hic-up, just be sure to clean it. Is she fairing well?" "Yes, yes." "Good. I will be sending you my report soon, Captin." "Your recklessness is going to be the end of me girl." She merely chuckled as she closed the link, hopping into her ship, and setting headway to return to the main vessel. *** "Eclair!" a youthful looking blonde yelled as she entered the room, practically jumping at her for a hug. She smiled warmly ruffling her hair before returning the hug. "You act as though you never see me." "You always are off doing things, dangerous things, so it is always good to see you come back in one piece." the girl smiled widely as she held up a small wooden recorder in front of her. "I made it myself, for you. So even when I can't come with you, you can always think of me." She took the gift gingerly, a warm smile of her once bloodstained lips. "Thank you, Aer. I will always keep it close. Come on now, I have to file a report. Why don't you accompany me." "Okay!" she rose a hand up dramatically as she smiled. 'You are such a kid Aer.'

~~WARNING: This post contains violence and sexual themes~~
Maxwell Vijay stared out over the gleaming white city. This planet, Herote, was famous for its white steel, which developers used almost exclusively in building construction. The result was a pure, still look to its cities, befitting a planet most commonly known in the ENF as The Seat.
The Seat was home to both major building headquarters as well as most of the ENF judiciary system. It was convenient to harbour money and justice in the same place.
Mr. Vijay sighed, swirling his scotch as he looked over the opulence. There was a soft knock on the door. He turned towards the double doors of his penthouse suite. "Yes, come in," he sighed again, setting his glass down on a glass table.
Mr. Vijay's very pretty assistant poked her head around the door before sidling into the room, closing the doors behind her. "I'm here to go over your appointment book with you, Mr. Vijay."
"Yes, please come sit." Maxwell gestured to the sumptuous black couches that dominated the room.
His assistant smiled slyly and sat down delicately. She tapped the screen of her touchpad and began listing off the meetings for the week and the important officials that would be present. "...and be sure to pay attention when they are speaking. I will be there, so you do not need to know the information, but the last time you met with the Minister of Defense he was very offended by your nonchalance. Also there is a brunch at the-"
"Oh, enough of that Esuva." Maxwell sat down abruptly next to her, grabbing her up in his arms and reaching for a kiss. "Let me have you now. You haven't touched me in weeks."
Esuva ducked the kiss and lightly pushed her employer away. "This is important Vijay. You need to make a good impression at these meetings-"
"The meetings can wait. Just take a few minutes with me." He brushed the hair from her neck, kissing her shoulder gently."
Esuva stood up and fiercely snapped her tablet down on the table. "I gave you my refusal," she growled. Something wild flickered across her face.
Maxwell seemed to retreat inside himself for a moment before his expression became firm again. He stood, grabbing Esuva by the elbows. "You listen to me. I will not whimper before you now. This world is different. In this world women pay their men respect," he shook her for emphasis, "and you are just a freak."
Esuva wrenched herself free and walked away from him, towards the window. She folded her arms across her chest in defiance. Maxwell bristled silently for a moment. "Esuva, if you do not start treating me as a lover should, I will fire you!" he spat.
She laughed, her backed still turned towards him. "And what would you do then? You would have nothing without me."
"You need me," he growled, and then rapidly closed the distance between them. He gripped her tightly and breathed dangerously in her ear, grinding his hips against her backside. "And I need you."
Esuva yanked out of his grip in a flash and struck him across the face. Four deep gashes split his cheek, bleeding heavily down his face. He cringed and knelt.
"You will not advance on me like that ever again." Esuva spat on his lapel, smoothing her dress. Maxwell mumbled, bowing his head. His secretary snatched his chin in her hand, forcing him to meet her gaze. "What was that, maggot?"
"Y-yes my Queen." He trembled slightly under her touch.
"Good." she released her hold on him. "Don't forget your place again."
There was a sharp rap on the door. Maxwell Vijay quickly rose to his feet, dabbing at his cheek with his handkerchief. Esuva had resumed her position on the couch. He looked to her hesitantly. Esuva nodded. "Yes, who is it?" he called out.

((Captain Erika Skylar gave me permission to powerplay Maxwell and Esuva)) Let me tell you something about intelligence, before this next chapter begins: in it's extremely highest levelled minds, it often comes with insanity. Judas Blake was no exception to this rule, that being said his version of insanity only strengthened his vastly methodical ingenuity and his unparalleled brilliant intelligence. That being said, psychopathic tendencies often do.
Judas Blake was age twenty five when this chapter began, and in his so far short life he has become Number 1 of the Sector 9 chiefs, secret heir of the Crystathine Cooperation, King from shadows of a political machine that controls the entirety of the True System Republic, faceless leader of the Krion division of the Elvin Naval Federation, silent owner of a political machine that controls almost all of the ENF council, and therefore controls both nations in their entirety without ever exposing his true identity. Judas therefore posses as a respectable professor at the TSR home world's leading University, Robinson University named after the founder and once named greatest President of the True System Republic. There he teaches with a Ph.D in Sociology and a second one in Ph.D Advanced Number Theory. No one suspects this prodigy to control the entire solar system, holding it in the palm of his hand.
As King from the shadows he makes both nations fear and hate each other, and using this fear he controls them. Arguably the greatest chess player in any of the worlds, he plays life like a chess game, people being pieces on a giant board that takes up the whole of the solar system both nations reside within, a true Professor Moriarty through and through. He is considered in the psychological community, an Unstoppable Force whom sees himself as a god.
And thus far there have only three challenges this self-proclaimed god has yet to over come, the first is controlling the suddenly powerful ENF company Elemronian who's C.E.O. Maxwell Vijay seems to constantly be a loose cannon whom Judas could not tie down, despite Maxwell's completely idiotic and fearful nature. It is because of Maxwell alone Judas began this war, ordered the two-part strike on the docked Elvin Armada, accompanied by the destruction of their radio space station The Urolda and paralleled with the assassination of Maxwell Vijay. It would have been because of him that the war would be come to a sudden cease fire the moment Elemronian was under his control. But now, his plans shall change.
For the second was Jacob Kraith and his band of pirate traitors. Though Judas could admit his mistake of playing Kraith for the murders of his own family was a childish and over-confident move which lead to the utter downfall of his plan to remove Kraith, The Svoboda's captain had this way of constantly being underestimated. Indeed the original craft was destroyed, but Judas had been watching, waiting. He knew Kraith's intelligent battle skills, he knew Kraith was alive, and he knew that Kraith would eventually appear in Judas's empire once again.
Of course Kraith would be sentimental enough to name his new pirate vessel after the fallen craft that marked the end of his days in the TSR. Of course he would also house other wanted fugitives that matched his personality. Kraith had this profound ability to resurrect himself from the shadows, pop up on the grid like a gypsy, then disappear once again.
Judas, sitting at his desk at home just after the sector 9 meeting, yelled in frustration, and in one swift motion he grabbed a glass on his desk filled with wine and throwing it at the far wall. The glass shattered on impact, bursting into a jigsaw puzzle of clear blades and red liquid.
"Damnit Kraith!" he swore under his breath, panting in a raspy voice. He began to cough, hacking up blood harshly. He covered his mouth with a handkerchief near by, trying to contain the side effects of the third challenge Judas Blake couldn't seem to overcome, and nor would he ever be able to.
"You shouldn't push yourself," her voice said within his mind. Judas knew the voice well, for it was the voice of the god that gave him this power, the god of death and destruction that appointed him master of these worlds. "You don't want die now, not now, when you are this close to achieving true and complete power." Judas calmed his breathing, but he still panted in a raspy voice. His emotions of anger turned towards her voice, but she greeted them with a calming tone. "Relax, is it so hard to see the answer?" He paused, and thought deeply about her words.
"A way out?" he asked."You see one?"
"Wouldn't be a very good god if I didn't?" she answered, her voice echoed in his head, layered with the chaos she was. "Think about it, Judas. What if both nations hunted the Svoboda?"
"How would I get both nations to hunt a ship that is supposed to be dead?" he demanded.
And so she showed him her thoughts, explaining them as he watched them unfold.
"The vessel Eclair captains is near enough to attack...say twelve hours early?" she said as he saw the mighty Eclair's vessel fly from over head to The Urolda. Her ship had two teams of unmanned drones surrounding it, twenty drones per team, more than enough protection for the vessel's job. They were small, like one man fighters. Their wings formed like blades in space, and though their size was not much, like all things in the TSR, they paced a punch despite their size. "The drones you see, they are not just there for her protection, but an incentive." The radio station before his eyes goes to battle with Eclair's ship, explosions rip through as the station's gun turrets attempt to protect it from an inevitable defeat. With a flash of light and fire, the station explodes, the mission a success.
"Why do that?" Judas asked, but the thought answered him before she could.
"To allow the fleet to notice, and become immobilized," she said softly, soothingly. "At this point, our poor Admiral has one choice, destroy the ENF planet along with himself, his entire fleet and the ENF fleet, but to do this, he needs to deploy all the weapons at once." Judas watches as the Admiral's ship goes down, holes ripped his vessel's haul, fire exploding from within as it hits the planet's atmosphere. All at once all of the solar flair missiles go off, destroying everything. The planets shatters into rubble, and both fleets desegregate from the explosion. "No survivors."
"Allowing me to say whatever I want using the press to my will," he said, his confident smug attitude reappearing. "Like for example, the fleet was a diplomatic group, it's radio sabotaged and somehow twenty experimental weapons that had been stolen sometime ago were placed on board."
"At this point," her voice said. "The radio station would be knocked out, no communication attempts would be heard. You therefore get to frame it as an act of terrorism."
"On who, though?" he asked. She showed him. She showed Eclair's vessel going to the True Blood's home world, where she was given special classification orders, ones that were well above her pay-rate. The Sector 9 chief Ronalds would not be permitted to ask anything of her given those codes, and just do what she said.
"She'll be taking passengers, our operative three to be exact," her voice said showing Venom, Rin and Umbra getting on board her vessel. "She would then be ordered to maintain radio silence and hunt down the Svoboda, using her team and the operatives on board to do so. She would be given specific orders to only to send communication waves or receive them at midnight on every night, and only to an unknown cheif of Sector 9, you of course."
"How can we be sure she'll do this?" Judas asked.
"Sabotage the transmission-relay while at Sector 9 base," she said. "While this happens, she is out hunting the Svoboda...oblivious to what you'll do next."
"With the fall of Maxwell," Judas said. "I'll control the entire ENF. Using forged reports, we send both nations at The Svoboda and their accomplices, Eclair, her sister Aer, and three of Sector 9's best operatives. Sector 9 is therefore shut down, it's failure wrapped around Ronald's neck, it starts up again with a different name. And the power is put in my hands."
"Our hands poppet," she whispered a correction.
"Yes," he said. "I couldn't have done this without you, Voidra."
He began to get to work, sending the message with specific codes and orders to Eclair's vessel. He arranged his plans specifically.
And for the purposes he wanted, they worked perfectly. In the end, both nations were controlled by him, and they both targeted his last obstacle, Jacob Kraith and his ship The Svoboda.
"Yes, who is it?" Maxwell's voice.
The time was 1800 as she stood on the other side of the door, the lovely elvin girl named was Lyla Nylita. She was a strong she-elf, organized but obedient. On her black witch like dress, a bad showing her credentials as replacement head of security for Elemronian Cooperation's CEO Maxwell Vijay. His original head of security was arrested this morning for treason, and to avoid a scandal the Elvin Parliament appointed Lyla as replacement.
In her hands she held a document tablet that had all of her information, her entire back ground, her character references, her license for using a katana as her weapon, her proof and documentation as an injected Elemron user of elemental Air, and anything else that would be needed for such a position. Underneath the pad she held her katana, sheathed of course, prepared for inspection should it be required.
In her calm voice, she pressed the button to intercom answer.
"My name is Lyla Nylita, and I am your new head of security. The Elvin Parliament sent me to avoid a press scandal, and I am here to introduce myself and suggest improvements upon your lacking security."
Secretly, though few know it, Lyla is a purist of elvin blood. She sees elves superior to all other races, and has this way to look down upon any race in a very passive aggressive manner. The truth is, to her, having a human in Parliament is something of a crime and her job requires her to correct all crimes.
Except...that wasn't completely honest either.....
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Venom sat at her computer conciliate, awaiting a reply to a mission request. Her impatience showed as she drummed her fingers on the desk with one hand while the other braced her cheek by the elbow to keep her head up and alert. A groan left her lips as she looked up at the clock. The time had just liked to 0030. She groaned again what's taking them so damn long? She wondered. Out of frustration of impatience she stood up and walked to the punching back that hung on the wall. Like a gun she struck with speed and precision against the leather bound sand filled bag. Each collision echoed in the apartment, one fist the the other, rippling the leather with an impact that could stop a heart.
A beep sounded from her computer, and she stopped mid swing, walking over to it. The holograph of Ronald's face appeared before her, relaying the answer.
"Operative Venom, we have reviewed your request to attempt cellular infusion with Elvin dna to be able to use the Krion enhancer Elemron, and though we find it the answer with hesitation in fear of your safety, the Sector 9 chief’s are in unanimous agreement with the idea. We have located a suitable Krion operative as a target to preform the infusion with. A detailed procedure plan has been sent to you explaining how to infuse the elvin dna with your own. It will give you the appearance of an elf for 36 hours, so if you can terminate Maxwell Vijay in that time frame, well it would be ideal I am sure you know. The elemental enhancers will however be permanently usable, even after the elvin appearance wears off. Good luck. Oh and Venom..."
The holographed face of Colonel Ronalds raised an eyebrow at her with a smile, a classic look but only for her.
"Keep the Krion's brain intact."
The holograph sequence terminated, deleting all records of even being sent from her computer. She smiled, her confidence beamed as she began going through the files sent to her computer about the Krion targeted operative.
- - - - - - - - - - - - -
"You know, you Krion always were easy to kill in your sleep," she said wiping the blood from her lip. The female Krion agent's apartment was an utter state of ruins, fresh from the battle of the two Operatives. Venom didn't take too many injuries from this one, a bruised rib and a slightly swollen jaw were nothing in comparison to her normal Krion victims. Meanwhile the Krion lay dead, her arms and legs bound by cables and cords thanks to Venom's telekinesis. She spat blood on the Krion's face, her eyes wide in her death from being strangled by the cable cord around her neck. Venom held out her hand and using her powers lifted the body, rolled it face down and set it gently on the floor. After fumbling in her pockets she pulled out a needled syringe. "Nothing personal, ya know..." she said jamming the needle into the back of the Krion's head. "Just part of the job," she said withdrawing brain matter into the tube through the needle and laughing as she did so.
The clock in the Krion operative's room blinked 0145.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
The ideas, and credentials were easy to forge, creating the fake background was equally so. The name was perhaps the trickiest part of that, finding the right one. Venom sat at her desk, wearing a very witch looking black dress. She sat strait as one of class would, one knee crossed over the other under the skirt of her dress. Her ears were pointed at the tips, her eyes formed in her face with more of a narrowed point, though her irises were still red as ever.
The time now was 1400. Within the past twelve hours, Venom had successfully preformed the dna infusion with the Krion's brain matter, and injected herself successfully with air elemental Elemron. She had forged evidence to get Maxwell Vijay's head of security arrested for treason, and now she waited for a call from Parliament. She marvelled at her powers, looking at the inside of her apartment where she used wind like a blade, leaving hundreds of slices in the stone walls of her apartment, clean cut slices. She held her hand out and successfully created an orb of air, contained within her hand.
"No one will ever be able to kill me," she scoffed. "I will be death's new reaper."
"Is that so?" a whisper came from no where. She closed her hand ceasing the air movement in her palm. The voice of a female, it echoed but nothing more was said. A paused range out, silent as the graves as Venom gripped her katana's hilt waiting.
"Show your self," Venom demanded quietly. Two golden eyes stared at her from the shadows of her room. They seemed to be made of mist or smoke, but they glowed a yellow glow, an eerie yellow glow. That is when the sound of scratching a chalk board screeched in Venom's ears, its origin where the eyes stared. Venom threw out her hand sending a slice of wind but all it did was ripple the smoky form of a humanoid girl.
"Answer your call, Venom," the voice said. Venom stared in horror and jumped as the telecommunicate-relay beeped signalling a call. She looked at the source looking away from the smoky thing for a second then looked back. They were gone. She shook her head, pondering if she was hallucinating. She walked over to relay and answered it.
"Hello, who is this?"
"Hello," the voice on the end answered. "Are you Lyla Nylita."
"Yes...I am," Venom answered.
- - - - - - - - - - - - -
1600 hours now. Venom had freshly showered and again was dressed neatly in her new gown. She wore matching sleeves on her forearms. She packed her katana in its sheath and brought with her a document pad. All packed and ready to go, Venom walked to the apartment entrance. It was only then she was it.
In the corner where the smoky thing was, a marking was left scrapped into her wall. Six letters carved into the solid stone: V-O-I-D-R-A.
Before leaving she took a picture and sent it through a security scanner, seeking origin. The scan continued as she left to go to Maxwell Vijay's penthouse.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
And now, 1800 hours, she stood outside her target's door, and she was Lyla Nylita. Her hand, Venom's hand and Lyla's pressed the intercom button. Her voice, Venom's voice and Lyla's spoke who she was. Now her ears, Venom's and Lyla's ears listened and waited. There was hardly a wait before Maxwell's assitant's voice spoke through the intercom.
"Come in," she said.
Venom reached out her hands, and those of Lyla's and pushed open the door. She walked through into her target's home. She bowed letting Lyla's long brown hair fall over her head as she greeted Maxwell in respect.
"Hello Mr. Vijay," she said before she raised herself from her bow. Her eyes turned to his assistant Esuva. "And greetings to you and your assistant, Esuva wasn't it?" she said with a bow to Esuva. "I am sure you heard about this morning's fiasco with your traitor of a security head. I was appointed to make sure nothing like that happened again. I will say you could have avoided such a scandal from the start if you solidified your security methods. For example, when I worked the federal prison, everyone was required monthly interrogations, psychological evaluations, and lie detector examinations to ensure the maximum security of the prison and for the betterment of all of the Federation."
Her eyes looked to Maxwell again. She stared for a second longer before looking away slightly.
"I did not expect you to be so handsome, Mr. Vijay. You truly are a face worth painting...and this I find rare in a human."
But in her thoughts, Venom laughed. You are too easy to sell to, Maxwell Vijay, and I sold you your funeral.

......
Greetings Captain Eclair.
If you are receiving this it is exactly 1832 TSR space time. The Surprise has gone to Warp Speed to rondevu with the TSR surprise attack fleet. However there is a mission Update required of you Captain Eclair.
The Radio Space Station Urolda is barely a ten minute flight, Maximum Warp. You are to engage the Urolda and destroy it before 1930 hours. Once you have left warp, two fleets of unmanned fighter drones will accompany you, twenty in each fleet. The Urolda has no real defences of its own, mostly small turrets that couldn't scratch your shields let alone penetrate them.
However the Urolda is programmed a defensive frequency emulator, which if it picks up a TSR registered Sensor Relay will hail the nearest three vessels for aid, which happen to be a bare minute's flight from the station. That's why the drones have been programs to block all your communications. When you regroup with them they will surround you on all sides, and bounce your radio frequencies between themselves, containing the signature from the station. They will also cause a natural visual cloaking, making your vessel undetectable.
That will give you time to get one shot of your choice, but the minute you fire it will know you're there. That is why you will use a photon-torpedo and aim here, at the system redactor core.
There's a high chance their shields are up, which is why when Captain Jho boarded The Surprise your torpedo bay had been altered with an ion infuser, which means every missile you fire will work as an emp and fly right through their shields.
We have taken liberties to keep the fleet attacking the Hylita port safe from attack so don't hesitate. The torpedo hitting the reactor will inevitably destroy the entire vessel by a chain reaction.
Now, why are we ordering you to break off the original plan? This is why:

This is footage of a supposed dead in the water vessel, known as The Svoboda, was taken at approximately 1000 hours this morning by Admiral Nukalia himself. However, do not be fooled.
JX-74 Kin Ralth AS-H13 Bon Lito Jarrold Unvisskar EX TSR General, Jacob Kraith
These are but a few of the crew of the Svoboda. Their files will not be deleted from your hard drive like the rest of this message, however they will only be opened at your voice command.
All of the members of the Svoboda have committed treason to the Republic and are still at large for their crimes. The Svoboda has been MIA for some time, it's captain's skills probably responsible for the recent traitor ship's erratic appearances and disappearances. It is a priority threat, which is why you are ideal in the mission to go to hunt it down, destroy the Svoboda, and take her entire crew dead or alive.
Upon completion of your mission with The Urolda, you will go Maxium warp to the home world of the True Blood Syndicate, arriving at about 0400 TSR Space time. Few know this but the entire True Blood Crime Syndicate is controlled by Sector 9, and is used as a front for infiltrating ENF military boarders.
When you hit amto, you will give authorization code Delta-Gama-1-1-5-Omega for an immediate landing. They'll permit it, and once landed you will hail the radio tower with the Security Code Alpha-Alpha-9-1-1-Omega. You will not leave your vessel. You will stay stationary until three operatives leave the main doors to your landing pad.
Here are their profiles. Sector 9's best assassin operatives, Venom, Rin and Umbra. You will need to recognize their photos. Intel suggests Venom will appear elvin like, a picture of her possible appearance is attached to her file, so permit her to come aboard no matter what. You will open your doors to these three operatives who have the same mission as you. Oh, and a heads up, Operative Umbra will be installing a cloaking mechanism into your vessel directly. Needless to say the drones will stay behind at the True Blood Sector 9 HQ.
After the passengers get on board, pull up landing gear and go to the following coordinators, which is the last place The Svoboda has been seen. You are to maintain complete radio silence. Do not send transmissions, do not receive them. There is reason to believe The Svoboda is equipped with a hacker program, any radio frequencies sent or received can lead them strait to you.
However the one exception is Midnight TSR Space time, where you will send a TSR message with an text update encoded with the following security code: Charlie-Victor-2-1-7-Epislon. Upon sending the update you will immediately receive a new code to use at midnight the next night. If I have updated orders to give, or Intel to share, I will attach them to the code itself, otherwise you will do this daily.
As I said, any attempts to deny your orders, or abandon responsibility to any requirement will be answered as an act of treason and your vessel will be access with override codes immediately, and programmed to self destruct.
If you understand your responsibilities, state your name at the end of this transmission.
--May the Republic Forever Stand Sector 9 Chief 11.

The report went as smoothly as it could have gone she concluded as she closed transmission with a higher-up, rising with a heavy sigh. She ran her pale fingers through her blackened locks remembering almost fondly the feeling of blood against her skin, and then shuddering as she realized she had regarded it fondly. They were almost to the drop off destination for the cargo ship, and it was a wondrous feeling without a doubt, to nearly to free to do as they pleased. At least until the next mission came in, but she doubted that would be anytime soon. For now though she would ready herself for the next injection. She was scheduled for it very soon after all. Thus when they would arrive she would make a point of having the procedure done once more, before she was off. A small click made her sigh and turn towards the young girl in the corner, who quickly darted back behind a large piece of machinery. " I know you are there, Aer. Why do you insist upon eavesdropping? One day you are going to hear something you won't want to." she sighed heavily as she observed her sister slowly step out from her hiding place, her blonde locks falling messily around her shoulders, a likely messy set of hair hidden by a large hat. "You never tell me when you leave otherwise though. I want to know when I can expect you around. Besides...I...like to think I am as spy-like as you! her cheeks flushed slightly with the last words, and she looked ever so slightly down, her hands behind her back as she kicked the ground, almost shyly. " Oh Aer." she couldn't help the chuckle that left her lips as she clasped a hand firmly on the girl's shoulder, walking with her like this out of the room and down the hallway. "What am I ever going to do with you? You want so desperately to grow up, yet I do not think you know what that would entail--" "Sure I do! It means I can finally help my sister and stop being a burden! You work so hard all the time, I can see it in your eyes. And whatever you do prevents you from sleeping well! I can see it in your eyes! You are tired. I want to be able to help you so you can sleep sounder, and rest easier!" her words were spoken with a boldness, and fierceness that for a moment made Eclair forget she was talking to a child, if only for a moment. Aer had a way of doing such things, she had noticed over the years. She could be a naive fool one moment, and the very next, a responsible adult. But it was the naive nature of this child, that prevented Eclair from ever truly leaving her alone. Something somewhere would take advantage of her otherwise. She sighed chuckling a little as she moved her hand from the girl's shoulder to pat her head. "You really are such a kid, Aer. When you are older, I will consider it. Deal?" the smile which was upon Eclair's lips was the warmest smile she had worn in a while. It was always refreshing to see such vigor in her sister, she concluded. Aer nodded slightly in agreement pouting a little at being called a kid. And so they walked and carried on, in silence, Eclair smiling, and Aer pouting. ------ The drop off went smoothing enough at the station, especially since the clean-up crew had done an exceptionally good job at cleaning up the mess she had caused in the bay of the ship. No one was worse for the wear, and she was on her way to her treatment. It was always a unique experience without a doubt. She had left Aer in the capable if brash hands of Jho, her co-captin. He had been assigned to help her pilot since they both were problem cases in a sense. Or at least, that is what she suspected. Her mind wandered back towards the ease with which she had slaughtered them all, and she hadn't even had to do anything remotely psychic, aside from removing their...weapons. The clicking of her feet down the hallway towards the injection room, brought her back to that moment, still so very fresh in her memory, even though it had been nearly a day since that very occurrence. She had entered the bay, sickles drawn, meant only to threaten those on board into compliance, instead drawing forth the rhythmic gunfire. She managed to dodge behind a few crates, however the few who had retaliated were fast approaching her. As she passed through into the room, the instructions she was given in her mind faded into the shouts of rebellion from the smugglers. She jumped out from her cover, in her minds eye throwing the weapons out of the hands of the rebels, her sickles connecting with their necks, before she ripped their heads from their spines, almost too cleanly, with a soothing pop. She then charged towards another one, chopping the man's legs off, before a sting at the base of her neck alerted her towards another threat in the memory. She reached up and grabbed whatever had pierced her skin, and threw it back towards its source. She was on where it had come from in a second, the very same needle, through the power of her mental prowess, threatening to impale the neck of this latest rebel. But there was something different about this one...something...crap. Her eyes widened and she backed away, the scientist, now thoroughly terrified backing up from her, the syringe half empty as she sighed and sat back down. That was right, she was in for her injection. She breathed deeply, sitting back down. Now was not the time to reminisce on such memories. Later, perhaps, when she was at less risk of hurting someone on her side. She really was a loose cannon at times. ---- The trip back was not nearly as calm as she had hoped, therefore she was not allowed time to calm herself. Jho had come to grab her while she had been with Aer, telling her of an incoming transmission. With a hefty sigh she had risen from her spot next to Aer, and wandered over towards Jho, following him into the main control panel. --- The source for the message was hidden...but they both knew it was from a higher official. The following transmission is approved for only Captain Jho's and Captain Eclair's eyes. All other unauthorized parties witnessing these transmissions commit treason to the True System Republic and will be charged with Treason. This message originates from Sector 9's security chief council.
This message should be received by 1800 TSR space time.

Greetings. I am one of the twelve Sector 9 chiefs. I have new orders for you Captains Eclair and Jho.
You are ordered to rondevu with the worrier vessel The Surprise which is currently positioned in Elvin Naval Federation Space, near the forth moon of the home-world Hylita. There Captain Jho has been given command of The Surprise and join Admiral Nukalai's fleet in the surprise attack of the ENF docked fleet on Hylita, scheduled to be struck at 0200 tomorrow morning.
Meanwhile Captain Eclair will take command of The Resolve and at 0600 will engaged the space radio space station, The Urolda. Captain Eclair must destroy the space station AFTER the 0600 hours, if the space station is attacked prior, the ENF's fleet will become active and the attack will end in disaster.
If you are receiving this message at 1800 hours TSR space time, you will be hailed in fifteen minutes by The Surprise for docking.
--May the Republic Forever Stand " May the republic forever stand." both she and Jho echoed back. "The surprise eh? Quite fitting for such a lovely surprise." "You humor has yet to change." she commented dryly before moving over to the control pannel odering the rest of the crew to shift their course towards the apparently location of The Surprise. ------
Eclair was standing in the pilots room, with Aer looking over the ever fading image of Surpise in the distance as Aer played a small tune on her recorder. It was fitting, Eclair decided, that the tune held with it such a sorrowful tone considering someone she had grown so accustomed to working with was now departing for his own grounds of work. Their farewell though, had been just as reflective of their work. Very professional, with very few words spoken. She had wished him good luck, and that he would not have to deal with fools. He had wished her better control of her appetite, to which she knew he didn't mean literally. It would be odd, for now, to adjust to the sudden lack of Jho's commentary, but it wouldn't be something she was incapable of.

" Fantastic. Another thing to prevent me from relaxing. Ah well, duty is duty, and elven scum are elven scum, just as rebels are rebels. Duty never stops. " ---- Aer was very concered now, with the orders she had overheard from the other side of the door. Her sister and she were going into a very dangerous place, and she felt deep in her gut, that they were going to be in serious trouble, reguardless of any preconcions. This just felt...wrong, compared to all other orders she had received before.
When she re-entered the room it was with a smile hiding her concern for her sister, who merely smiled back at her. " Come on Aer, time to play pick up." and just like that, they were off, ready to go pick up the agents they would need to proceed with the mission.

Rin was momentarily silent as she listened the the message that filled the small space of her run-down old ship. She assumed these other agents had been sent a similar message-a sign that she would be required to work within their rules and guidelines. She forced herself to remember what her mother had taught her about her bouts of attitude. 'Don't roll your eyes, Rin... Don't do it...' she thought, gritting her teeth. She'd taken this job for the money-taken it as another step closer to her revenge. She hissed under her breath and turned to study one of the numerous holograms that had been projected in the small space of her ship. On it, the 'treason ship's' last location was outlined.
She would wait, she decided. After all, her missions thusfar had been slow and relatively uneventful. Perhaps this would change all of that. God, she hoped so. Her fingers rose, sliding to hold the small copper pendant she'd tied with a strip of leather around her neck. In it was an antique picture of her mother, father, and brother. She would do it for them, she thought. It took a moment, but the silence of her ship filled with the pacing of her own booted feet against the metal floor. She'd been instructed to wear black-dress in uniform instead of the usual shabby attire she often preferred. Did they not trust her stealth?
Gingerly, she ran her thumb across the brim of her beige cap-the only piece of clothing she'd refused to take off and replace with military issue. She felt relatively calm with that hat on. It had been her brothers years before. Captain Eclair...she'd yet to meet this woman. Vaguely, she wondered what the girl would be like. She'd seen pictures, of course. She'd read the bio. Still, she couldn't help but to remain distrustful. Why had she been sent this mission, she wondered... She knew that, being an assassin, she'd have to take someone out. Lovely...
She turned and paced back to the enormous captain's chair in the center of the room, swirling around in it until she was almost dizzy. She shook her head, glancing out at the scanners for approaching ships. She'd be here soon...

((Events in this post including Venom are not in the same time frame as her other posts in this threat with Maxwell Vijay. Please keep in mind posts with Venom and Vijay will be filled in still.))
"Knock, knock, Rinny!" said the operative known as Umbra. He grinned at her from the shadows, remembering their last mission together and how much he was an ass to her then too. He had no intentions of changing his reputation for her now. Stepping out from where he was hiding in his own military dress uniform, he gave his fellow operative a well crafted and yet obviously deviously formed grin. "So, you're on this job with me and Ven I hear? And where is that girl anyways? Venom should have been back by now from killing that old Elemeron goat."
A swoosh of wind cut through from a different shadow. The air struck Umbra into the wall making him hit hard against it and fall to his knees.
“Oh, hi Venom.” He spat glaring up at her spitefully. “How was your mission?”
She too stepped out of the shadows. Her elvin ears had lost their tips and her face was nearly that of a human completely once more. Her eyes were the only part of her that had yet to change back. She stared Umbra down.
“I can't believe the minute I get back from killing off Vijay, I get stuck on a hunter's convoy with you Umbra. At least Rin here hast tact and knows when not to push buttons for no reason. She is what Sector 9 believes could be the model assassin if I ever get a KIA to my record. As for you, well we all know how trust worthy the Blood-Bored Umbra is. I bet Sector 9 is looking for a chance to have you KIA.
“You think so?” Umbra asked with a chuckle. He stood up and brushed himself off with a sneer. “Looks like someone got an okay to use that experimental genome shit to give herself a kick of Elemenron, air power huh?” He sneered at her. But Venom only stared back, staring down the most uncontrollable operative in the entire Sector 9.
“They must want Rin and me to kill you while we're out hunting this Svobodoa thing, otherwise they wouldn't bring you in on it.”
Umbra laughed a maniacal laugh, an uncontrollable roaring laugh. He clutched his belly as he roared in laughter.
“Haven't either of you read what the Svoboda is?” he asked after finally calming down. Venom raised an eyebrow at Umbra, Umbra smirked back. “It is the exact mission I've been longing for! The Svoboda houses an ex-General who was supposedly KIA but was actually shot by TSR vessels, an Android Sector 9 Rogue Robot, an ex-bounty hunter who never lost the hunter, the last of the AS-H13 model Spy-droids, an ex-Sector 9 operative who they say was better than you, Ven, about ten ton fifteen other wanted fugitives, oh and of course the Svoboda herself is quite possibly the best stealth ship in the entire system! And you're wondering why they picked me for this job?”
Venom rolled her eyes and walked over to sit at one of the computer-consulates typing in her codes to access the files again.
“It's a hunter hunting a hunter scenario,” she said in her normal unimpressed tone. “But why Eclair?” she asked looking up Eclair's file. “They picked the three of us to try and match the Svoboda's known fugitive list, but...Eclair to essentially be our shadow version of Kraith...I don't get it?”
The holo-pad computer she was working at showed a large picture of Eclair in a three dimensional form. To the right it had her physical statistics, her personality, her record, and her background.
“Ever here of The Ghost Space Sector?” Umbra asked. Venom turned around in her chair to face him. Her eyebrow raised, her eyelids narrowed she remained silent listening. “You've heard of it, haven't you Rin?” Umbra asked turned his enormous grin towards their quickly rising but young fellow operative. “It's the space sector that Eclair's ship runs, goes all the way from ENF battle world Nekuta, through the mine-fielded neutral zone to the TSR home world. They give it that name because of her. Rumors has it that she specializes in stealth-boarding raids. She's not Sector 9, but she might as well be.”
”And why's that?” Venom asked.
“Cause she boards them alone,” Umbra answered.
The voice of Colonel Ronalds entered the room from the speaker system.
“Operatives Venom, Rin and Umbra, you are to report to Hanger Kai immediately to bored The Resolve for your next mission.”
“Well ladies, let's try and enjoy ourselves,” Umbra said exiting the room.
Venom stood and rolled her eyes. She walked right past Rin, smirked and said “I do hope you brought something more comfortable to wear, Rin.” She smirked at the young operative, and added, “I hope you don't always plan to follow their rules to the T, otherwise you'll never get anywhere.”
It was only after saying this that she too exited the room, walking swiftly to the Hanger code named Kai.

The silence that permeated the ship lasted but a short while. Rin was new to this-in a sense, but already she'd grown to enjoy the rare silence. Most of her recent encounters included senior operatives within Sector 9. It had been different back home, she thought, recalling the jovial expressions of her parents' unit-her brother in particular. Young and care free...though the young and carefree were always the first to die, weren't they? In the syndicate, it'd been much the same. Young used as canon fodder... She preferred her position in Sector 9, though-using it for her own purposes. They thought she was good...she knew she was better. It took her a moment to snap out of her thoughts, glaring up instead at the shadow that stepped out.
She glanced over only briefly at the man that had entered her ship. She'd met him only once before. "Call me that one more time, Umbra, and I'll be more than happy to show you what I've learned while being an assassin. A simple 'hello, how are you today Rin' would have sufficed..." She hid her smirk. She could match him in stubbornness, she thought, standing to greet him. "It took you long enough to speak up, idiot."
She took a step back, feeling the wind begin to bustle through her ship. She'd met Venom as well, though she couldn't recall how many times it had been. She knew her style well enough by studying her to know that whatever was about to happen would hurt. Needless to say, the powerful gust didn't surprise her. She watched in mild curiosity as the man was sent flying before her gaze snapped to land on Venom's solidifying shadow. "It went well, I take?"
She listened to them discuss, holding her peace momentarily until they were done arguing. She'd been careful not to step on too many toes, though her temper was difficult to tamp down on. She nodded her thanks to Venom at her words before turning to flop back down in the enormous swivel chair. "I do what I do and I do it well. And I doubt death suits you, Venom."
She listened to the laughter, though it had crossed her mind several times that she might just assassinate him-just for shits and giggles. She pushed the thought back and waited for him to compose himself before speaking. Impatience, surprisingly, had become easier to suppress. "I've heard rumors of this ship, yes...but I don't know what it is, honestly." She gave a light shrug, shifting uncomfortably in her uniform. Too constricting, she thought bitterly.
Listening, her curiosity was peaked. Ah, so it WAS a big mission. She grinned, not bothering to hide the glint of mischief in her dark pupils. "So what you're saying is that this mission will let me 'accidentally' slip, fall, and slit Umbra's throat. Wonderful, I'm in." she teased, kicking her legs calmly in the chair. Her gaze flickered more seriously after a pause. "So this Eclair..."
She studied the bio for probably the thousandth time. All playfulness aside, if they needed her help, then it'd mean something big. "Fun fun~" she hummed, glancing up at the voice that filled the room. She pushed her thin body out of the chair easily, finding it awkward to stride proudly down a hallway in a military issue black uniform.
She glanced up at Venom then, smirking. "Nobody gave me the heads up. I'll keep it in mind." She reached out for the small pack which held her clothes. Changing would be her first priority.

The trip over towards the planet was relatively uneventful, if nerve enducing. Eclair had no real idea as to what she was going to witness as her ship neared the quardinants she was given. It could have been a trap, and she was prepared for it if it was, guns primed, and the cloaking mechanism for her ship at the ready if they needed to dissapear quickly. It was of her own making, and the mechanics of it made her proud. It was how she boarded ships, for no one saw her coming, nor would pick her up on radar. She wouldn't activate it yet though, no not yet. It was her trump card for traps, and she would not risk any save her knowing. Well, her and Aer.
She glanced down quickly to make sure the girl's slim form was beside her as she docked, and felt her eyes widen in surprise as she realized she was no longer there. She had been too focused on piloting to pay attentino to gravely. "Great." She finished the docking process, and ordered another crew member to watch the helm as she left to go find her younger sister. "Things can never just go as planned of late, can they?" she sighed as she made her way down the corridors. She had a hunch as to where the young child had gone. -----
Aer made her way out of the exit to the ship and onto a platform, from there walking into a hallway area, that she suspected would lead to the three operatives they were to be aquiring. She was practially skipping to as she did so, messy locks of gold bobbing slightly as she did so. She was dressed quite brightly for her surroundings and stood out relatively easily, unlike the three operatives her eyes soon caught sight of.
Two of the three were female, the other a male. She paused slightly tilting her head studying them. One of them, drew her attention first. She looked to be a half elf the way her ears were formated, and her hair was long black and sleek. Her red eyes sharp and watchful. She was beautiful utterly and completely and at the sight of her Aer felt her jaw drop slightly as she slowled her skip to a walk. "You are beautiful." the words left her mouth swiftly as she neared. Are you three the ones my sister was meant to pick up? I didn't realize there was an elf among you. That is so cool." Aer couldn't keep the excitement out of her voice. This would be the first half elf she had met outside her late mother.
Her eyes travled then over towards the other girl, who wore a hat that matched in no way her uniform, whose features were youthful, and only seemed to be just leaving her teenage years behind. She too was quite remarkable looking, but by far looked friendly than the halfelf, so it was to her, that Aer offered her hand for introductions. "If so it is nice to meet you. I can lead you to my sister's ship if you want." she gave a big grin, her eyes glancing over to the man last to study him.
He looked fairly aloof at first glance, friendly even. Yet there was something in his eyes...something feral that made Aer shift slightly away from him. Behind that aloof persona was something dangerous. She could feel it.

Umbra couldn't contain his laughter a moment longer after Aer finally turned to lead them to the vessel. He pointed at Venom and jeered, roaring with laughter.
"Venom! You're a half elf!" he said in his laughing. She flicked him a glancing glare and then turned to Rin.
"Rin, if you would like, you have my permission to castrate him in his sleep, since...apparently you two received bunks together." She smirked and walked forward. Umbra looked as if he had tasted ass. As she caught up with Aer she spoke the little one gently.
"My dear Aer," she began as they walked. "I thank you for your compliments, but may I ask, shouldn't you be with your sister so she can take better care of you?"
Take better care? The words echoed in her mind reminding her of the earlier assassination. She flashed back quickly to it, but to, more importantly, what happened afterwards. A quiet shudder from the memory ran her spine. Umbra and Aer both would have missed it, but Rin would have seen it if she was paying attention.
After her conversation with Esuva, she escaped Maxwell's penthouse with ease...until that thing appeared again. Golden eyes, made of this smoky form. Who was Voidra?
She blinked herself back to reality, probably missing whatever was said for about five minutes. A simple "I see," exited her lips to make it seem she heard all that was said. She had this feeling, somewhere deep within herself that Voidra would appear again.
She remembered this feeling well as they stepped onto the loading platform of The Resolve.
"Rin I swear to all that is good and holy, you will not touch me in my sleep!" A sharp glare went to Venom after that. "This was your doing, wasn't it? You ensured I would be in her quarters, didn't you?"
A groan left his lips, for he knew the real answer was all three of them were to sleep there. But, as he studied the now suddenly silent Venom he smirked knowing what her body signals were saying. She was easily distracted with her mind, possible flash backs, as well as other signs that clearly stated The Hit didn't go quite as planned, good news. Trauma made it easy for him to find weakness and carry out his "Special" orders...otherwise he would be no match for Venom alone, let alone both her and--
His eyes flickered to The Resolve now standing right before them. His head tilted to the side, and he looked at it with this expression of both confusion and disgust.
"What is that?" he asked. "A piece of asteroid fodder?"
